How the formula works: Site Size Score = Pages + (Words ÷ 750) + (Special Components × 4). The score maps to a tier; the tier has a base price; you multiply by your segment. PDFs and add-ons are priced separately.

Rough estimate is fine. 750 words equals 1 point in the formula.

What counts as a special component?

Standard kit (always included — don't count these): header/nav, hero, content pages, footer, one contact form, responsive grid.

Count each distinct type once: agenda/minutes repository, staff directory, surname or cemetery index, photo gallery, site search, event calendar, interactive map, online payments/donations, AI chatbot, news/blog, multi-language switcher, member portal, e-commerce.

Step 2: Your Organization Type
Governments and public-sector organizations pay a higher rate because they have legal compliance budgets and we are still 5 to 25 times less expensive than CivicPlus or Granicus.
Step 3: Add-Ons (optional)

Why this formula?
Pages reuse templates (1 pt each). Content takes time to migrate (1 pt per 750 words). Special components are the real engineering work (4 pts each).
Segment multipliers
Nonprofit 0.85× · Small business 1.0× · Government 1.75×. Government sites have legal compliance requirements and incumbent pricing in the $25K–$92K range — we're still 5–25× cheaper.
